Meet Charlie & Billie – Professional Wallflowers, Occasional Weirdos, and Full-Time Fluff Icons

Charlie and Billie aren’t just cats—they’re a bonded pair of fuzzy introverts who specialize in silent judgment, low-key affection, and being in the same room as you (but, like… over there). They’re currently accepting applications for a forever home—must include cozy blankets, good snacks, and absolutely no tiny humans.

When you first meet them, you might wonder, “Are these cats okay?” Oh, they’re fine—they’re just shy. They’re not cuddly (yet), but they are loyal little shadows who like to be near their people—whether that’s loafing across the room while you work or silently watching your every move from the hallway like two tiny supervisors. But give them time, patience, and the occasional treat-based bribe, and their quirky charm starts to shine.

Charlie (est. birthday: 3/1/2022) is a total heartthrob with huge, fleshy cheeks that could launch a thousand “aww”s (but no touching or you'll be ghosted.) With luxurious light-gray fur, dreamy blue eyes, and enough ear-and-toe fluff to star in his own shampoo commercial, he rocks the “sad-eyed prince” look like a pro. Charlie doesn’t want to be touched—at all, possibly ever—but he does want to hang out near you while maintaining an emotionally safe 3-foot perimeter. His favorite hobby? Gazing wistfully out the screen door like he’s thinking about his past lives.

Billie (also est. DOB 3/1/2023—because drama couples always share birthdays) is the smaller, sassier half of this team. She’s playful, bossy, and 100% in charge (she never let's Charlie out of her sight). Billie might honor you with a lap sit if the vibe is right, but only on her terms. She’s a laser-pointer maniac and a Churu connoisseur.

Both came to Kindred with some serious dental drama and had to part ways with quite a few teeth. Billie now occasionally sticks her tongue out—because why not? It only adds to her quirky cuteness. The good news? They’re all healed up and ready for their next adventure.

They’re looking for a quiet, cozy home without small kids or chaos. A chill cat roommate might be cool, and a calm dog could pass their vibe check if it’s polite and doesn’t expect much. They use the litterbox like champs and aren't picky when it comes to food.

Charlie and Billie have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Charlie and Billie are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.
