Donations in Memoriam:

A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.

Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities:

This method conserves the donor's cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year's tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

Direct Gifts of Life Insurance:

If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the Kindred Kitties may provide benefits to both Kindred Kitties and the donor. The Trust would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy's value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.

Wills:

The donor may list The Trust as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor's death.

HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS OUR CATS AND KITTENS

Every dollar you donate to Kindred Kitties helps us care for cats and kittens in need — whether they’re being rehomed or finding their very first home after a life outdoors. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.

– Rescue stray kittens and give pregnant moms a safe place to deliver and raise their babies
– Provide vital veterinary care including exams, vaccines, bloodwork, dentals, and surgeries
